WNBA Phoenix Mercurty center Britney Griner thought she could do in Russia, what she does in the U.S.: Carry vape cartridges containing hashish oil in her luggage.
Now she's on trial, and could face up to 10 years in jail. I bet America never looked so good to her.
Many WNBA players complete in Russia during the off-season, and Grina was one of them. She said she needed the money.

White House press secretary Jean-Pierre said Biden had read a letter from Griner. "This is an issue that is a priority for this president," she said. "We believe she is wrongfully detained."
Unfortunately there was nothing said about the January 6 Political Prisoners being wrongfully detained. Just like in Russia. Not from Joe and not from all the people who fear for this basketball player's future. Hmmm.
