I'm not ashamed to admit it. I watch Peppa Pig now and again. 

It's a great kiddie show, upbeat, happy and it sends a message: That piggies can have friends from every part of the animal kingdom.

That Daddy Pig can make mistakes and admit them with a chuckle.

And that Peppa loves her family, Mommy Pig, Daddy Pig and her brother George. 

Now it seems Peppa is having a woke update. Now the creators have decided to introduce a same sex couple.

Penny Polar Bear says, while drawing a picture of her family, "I live with my mummy and my other mummy. One mummy is a doctor, and one mummy cooks spaghetti."

To each his own, but it didn't seem necessary. The show and its adorable animal characters were already nicely inclusive and considerate.
